Leafcutter John and Max Baillie – White Space
Max Baillie and Leafcutter John have collaborated together since they met on a residency at Snape Maltings in 2011. They struck up a friendship and found a shared curiosity in sound — Max’s analog technology in the form of the viola interacting with John’s self-built responsive electronic processing rig. As a duo Max and John have performed at The City of London Festival, i=u Festival, and they first performed these seven original tracks live at Kings Place in 2013 for a collaboration between Aurora Orchestra and Wayne MacGregors company Random Dance. Max and John are happy to be making them available now with October House Records as their first public release together.
