While Swimming - ALBUM

As the title of this EP suggests, Hélo, Max and Colin are all lovers of the sea and particularly of jumping in the water, whatever the weather. For this collaboration, they each took charge of a track by laying down a foundation take of their own, sending this recording to the other two and then editing and producing their piece using all of the material that they received in reply.The resulting music, at once spontaneous and considered, takes us from a chilly, invigorating immersion to a timeless and dream-like pebble beach and finally to a hot, colourful and illusionary seascape. The artists don’t consider it necessary to advertise who was in charge of which track but rather feel that the joy of their collaborative music-making, achieved in isolation after many years of performing and improvising together, can be enjoyed as a trio of trio compositions.
